The scruffy pine reminds me of how we all grow stronger through adversity. Although our harsh Canadian winter has beaten and blown at the branches and needles, this hearty tree still stands strong. All the while the Northern Lights dance with joy across the frozen sky!

 I wanted to express how, in this amazing journey we live, every challenge we face holds the hidden gifts of strength, courage, companionship, and growth. I have never stood alone while facing whatever challenge life has offered me - and even at the harshest of times I can find moments of joy if I am willing to look for it!
